I’ve been wondering if it really makes a difference to use “septic safe” cleaning products, or if that’s just marketing. My spouse keeps reminding me not to pour bleach or harsh stuff down the drain, but honestly it’s hard to avoid sometimes. I don’t want to destroy the bacteria in the tank, but I also want my sinks and bathroom to be clean. Is it actually necessary to buy special products, or do most people just use regular cleaners and hope for the best?
