I'm flying to Greece for the first time and I don't want to get scammed by a transfer service. Can anyone recommend a reliable service? I've read that Athens and the islands are full of scammers who inflate prices. Is this true? Are there reputable companies that won't rip you off and will get you to your destination safely?

Are you arriving during the day or in the evening? I ask because in Greece, especially on the islands, taxi fares can be astronomical at night. When I flew to Thessaloniki, I was also warned that locals often “mark up” the fare, especially if they see a tourist with a suitcase. So I didn't take any chances and booked airport transfers Greece in advance through GetTransfer. For a 40-minute drive to my hotel on the coast, I paid €38. A fixed price, no tips and no unnecessary conversation. The driver arrived on time, helped me load my bags, and even gave me some recommendations on where to eat in the evening on the way. I definitely wouldn't have taken a taxi! By the way, have you already decided whether you just want to get to the hotel or maybe take a transfer with stops along the way to see Greece right after arrival?
