I wanted to start a thread about golf shoes and accessories—there’s such a huge variety out there now, and I’m curious about what’s actually worth buying. Whether you're a casual weekend player or on the course every other day, your input is super valuable!
First off—what golf shoes are you currently using, and would you recommend them? Are spikeless models holding up well on the course, or do you prefer traditional cleats? Also, has anyone noticed a big difference in comfort or performance between budget and premium shoes?
Secondly, let’s talk accessories—what are your must-haves? Gloves, hats, rangefinders, GPS watches, tees, towels… anything you can’t play without? Any underrated brands or hidden gems you'd suggest?
Also, if you’ve ordered online (especially from newer or smaller companies), how was the delivery and customer service experience? Did sizing match up? Returns hassle-free?
Let’s share both the hits and the misses—what worked great and what you wouldn’t buy again. Looking forward to hearing what’s made your game better (or more stylish)! 😄
Thanks in advance, and happy swinging!
Great topic! On footwear - I'm currently playing in ECCO spikels, very happy with them. They stay on the grass reliably, especially on dry fields, and after 18 holes my feet don't buzz. As for accessories - I don't even go out without a good glove and a GPS watch. Also, if you want to add style not only on the course, but also off it, I recommend renting a https://trinityrental.com/rent-rolls-royce/cullinan for at least a weekend. I took it for a special golf tournament - the impression and comfort is at the highest level. Well about the delivery - went best from direct brands, there were more size misses with Amazon.
I've recently gotten into it more seriously and found that having quality apparel makes a difference, especially when you’re out there for hours. I came across druids golf gear and was actually surprised at the quality without it costing a fortune. Definitely worth checking out if you're trying to step up your game without breaking the bank. Some threads are even better than the high-end brands I've tried before. Just my two cents for anyone here leveling up their golf kit!
