A friend of mine passed one a few months ago and now trades with a funded account, which sounds amazing — but he also mentioned it was way harder than he expected. I’ve done decent in my demo account, but I’m not sure if that translates well to the challenge rules. The profit targets, drawdown limits, and time restrictions all seem kind of intimidating. If anyone here has gone through it, what should I focus on to actually pass?

I’ve seen a lot of videos about people taking prop firm challenges, but I never really knew how strict the requirements were. Seems like a solid path if you’re disciplined, though. Cool to see people sharing real experience here instead of just hype.
I’ve taken a couple of those challenges and yeah, they’re definitely not as simple as they sound at first. It’s not just about making profits — it’s about sticking to rules under pressure. One small mistake and you’re out. I found this article on https://forextester.com/blog/prop-firm-challenges/ that breaks down everything you need to consider before signing up — from risk management tips to understanding how firms evaluate traders. For me, learning to trade with lower risk and being consistent was the biggest game-changer. I’d suggest reading that guide before jumping in — it really helps put things into perspective.
