Has anyone ordered the transportation of large cargo like this before? What is the situation regarding the safety and responsibility of carriers? I am moving to another region and need to transport a lot of furniture, including wardrobes and a sofa. I understand that all sorts of logistical problems can arise, such as damage to cargo, delays, and a lack of suitable transport. I looked into services like GetTransport, which seems convenient, but I still have doubts.

Will you be packing the furniture yourself, or will you be using a carrier? I moved from Illinois to Minnesota last summer and transported a lot of furniture. I used GetTransport and chose a full truck load because I did not want my cargo mixed with anyone else's. I wrapped the furniture in plastic wrap ahead of time and covered the corners with cardboard. Unless you order additional services, everything concerning packaging is your responsibility. I read on their blog about a logistic problem . They wrote that mechanical damage often occurs due to cargo not being secured properly or moving around inside the van. How far do you need to transport the cargo?
