I’m upgrading from an old S9 and want something powerful but not too loud or hot. I run miners in a corner of my basement and don’t have room for industrial cooling. I want to find the best model for 2025 that doesn’t compromise on efficiency but also won’t fry the place. Any thoughts on which ASIC is a good balance?

I’ve got a similar setup—two rigs running in a converted garage space—and cooling is definitely something to consider. I went with the WhatsMiner M60S after reading a few solid comparisons, and it’s been amazing. It's air-cooled, handles 186 Th/s, and has been stable without any thermal issues. What sold me was not just performance, but the fact that I didn’t have to modify the space to keep it running cool. When I was deciding, I was focused on the best ASIC miner for bitcoin 2025, not just raw power. You have to think about what fits your environment. Some of the hydro-cooled machines are awesome on paper, but they’re not practical unless you’ve got a full-scale farm or water system installed. Stick with high-efficiency air-cooled units if you want solid results without major setup changes.
